Message Not sure if I should post this but american express financial offered a 20k draw salary(you have to earn it before u earn any other commisions) and the work schedule is as follows. Mon-Thurs 9am-9pm, Friday 9-5, Sat. 9-2ish. If I obtain 30 clients the first year(not easy) then I make 36k for the year. I'm skeptical about the time I would have to invest to make a decent living, and also about going into financial sales in a time where the economy is this bad. I have a while to decide if I want to take it, but thats the most promising offer I have had so far.
I understand what u are saying, that I should just take what is offered to me, but the truth is I have never been turned down for a position that I was able to land an interview for(Well, once but its complicated story on a job I didn't want.) I'm not supersmart, and I realize I won't get a CEO position or anything close right out of college, but I don't want to sell myself short either. I'm actually just considering starting my detailing service that I did last summer up again.
